Abstract

• Number of foreign tourists who visiting Kepulauan Riau Province in November 2017 reached 168.113 visits, an increase of 3,92 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the previous month, where the number of foreign tourists in October 2017 as many as 161.770 visits. Compared with November 2016, foreign tourists in November 2017 was increased 18.35 percent.

• Foreign tourists who visited Kepulauan Riau Province in January to November 2017 was dominated by Singaporean tourists with a percentage of 49,91 percent of the total number of foreign tourists in January-November 2017.

• Cumulatively, from January to November 2017, the number of foreign tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province reached 1.815.978 visits or increase 6,29 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting in the same period of the previous year which amounted to 1.708.500 visits.

• Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star-rated hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in November 2017 in average reached 58,35 percent, or increase 4,85 points compared to October 2017 at 53,50 percent.

• The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in November 2017 is 1,91 days, or decrease 0,26 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in October 2017.
