Abstract

• The number of foreign tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province in February 2018 reached 205.964 visits. It is decreased 31,20 percent compared to previous month, where the number of foreign tourists in January 2018 recorded 156.986 visits. Compared with February 2017, foreign tourists in February 2018 was increased 53,15 percent.

• Foreign tourists who visited Kepulauan Riau Province in January to February 2018 was dominated by Singaporean tourists with a percentage of 44,03 percent of the total number of foreign tourists in February 2018.

• Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star-rated hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in February 2018 in average reached 58,78 percent, or increase 9,79 points compared to January 2018 at 48,99 percent.

• The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in February 2018 is 1,96 days, or decrease 0,19 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in January 2018.
