Abstract

In November 2019, the Kepulauan Riau Province's CPI (Batam City and Tanjungpinang City) showed deflation of 0.03 percent. Deflation occurred due to a decrease in the Consumer Price Index from 137.57 in October 2019 to 137.53 in November 2019. Inflation in the calendar year (January to November 2019) was 0.75 percent. Year-on-year inflation (November 2019 against November 2018) was 1.91 percent. Of the 2 CPI cities in Kepulauan Riau Province, it is recorded that Batam City and Tanjungpinang City experienced deflation of 0.01 percent and 0.17 percent respectively.
