Development of Kepulauan Riau Province Air and Sea Transportation November 2019

The number of domestic air transport passengers in November 2019 departing from the Kepulauan Riau Province was 197,961 people or an increase of 7.67 percent from October 2019. In November 2019 an increase in the number of international air transport passengers departed, totaling 1,327 people or an increase of 6.24 percent from the previous month

In November 2019, the amount of loading of baggage and domestic air transport goods increased by 3.96 percent from 3,562.56 tons in October 2019 to 3,703.76 tons in November 2019. Meanwhile, for international air transportation, during November 2019 baggage and goods loaded reached 7.31 tons, a decrease of 0.65 percent when compared to the previous month.

During November 2019 there were 333,491 domestic embarkations from ports in the Kepulauan Riau. The number of domestic passenger embarkations decreased by 1.89 percent compared to October 2019 which reached 339,907 people. Meanwhile, the number of international sea transportation passengers (embarkation) in November 2019 reached 380,085 people, up 3.05 percent compared to October 2019.

The amount of loading of international sea freight in November 2019 has decreased from the previous month of 9.67 percent, from 1,838,514.73 tons to 1,660,847.73 tons.
