Kepulauan Riau Exports in March 2020 Decreased 8.72 percent

Abstract

The export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in March 2020 reached US $ 1,009.22 million, down 8.72 percent compared to February 2020 exports.

Oil and gas exports in March 2020 amounted to US $ 224.96 million, down 0.56 percent compared to February 2020. Non-oil and gas exports in March 2020 reached US $ 784.25 million or down 10.82 percent compared to February 2020.

The biggest 2 digit HS non-oil exports in March 2020 were the group of electrical machinery/equipment (HS 85) of US $ 291.37 million, with a contribution to non-oil and gas exports of 37.29 percent.

Exports to Singapore in March 2020 reached the largest value of US $ 469.47 million with contributions reaching 46.86 percent.

The highest export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in March 2020 through Batu Ampar Harbor was US $ 454.97 million; followed by Sekupang Port, US $ 144.21 million; Port of Tarempa US $ 113.06 million; Kabil/Panau Port of US $ 115.32 million; and Sambu Island Port, US $ 83.23 million. The Port of the fifth contribution to exports in March 2020 amounted to 87.61 percent.
