Abstract

The number of domestic air passengers in May 2020 departing from Kepulauan Riau Province was 3,319 people or decreased by 94.22 percent from April 2020. There were only 9 international air transport passengers arriving in May 2020, down 68.97 percent compared to April 2020

During May 2020 there were 50,482 domestic embarkations from ports in Kepulauan Riau Province. The number of domestic passenger embarkations decreased 32.57 percent compared to April 2020, which reached 74,868 people. Meanwhile, the number of international sea transportation passengers (embarkation) in May 2020 was only 213, down 86.07 percent compared to April 2020.

In May 2020, the amount of load of luggage and domestic air transportation goods decreased by 58.11 percent from 1,478.60 tons in April 2020 to 619.34 tons in May 2020. In May 2020, there were no international air freight and luggage which was demolished in Kepulauan Riau Province. Meanwhile, the amount of luggage and goods loaded for international air transport is 6.19 tons.

In May 2020, the amount of loading of international sea freight goods decreased from the previous month by 16.68 percent, from 1,634,995.66 tons to 1,362,334.51 tons.
