Abstract

Farmer's Term of Trade (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) against the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
In May 2021, the NTP of the Kepulauan Riau Province was recorded at 103.57 or an increase of 0.23 percent compared to the NTP month April 2021.
The NTP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 103.65; NTP Horticulture sub-sector of 101.49; Plant subsector NTP People's Plantation of 101.34; NTP Livestock subsector of 102.62; and the NTP of the Fisheries sub-sector of 107.40.
Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kepulauan Riau Province in in May 2021 it was recorded at 104.29, an increase by 0.06 percent compared to the previous month.

• The NTUP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 103.05; NTUP
Horticulture sub-sector of 102.77; NTUP Plant subsector
People's Plantation of 102.33; NTUP Livestock subsector
of 102.97; and the NTUP of the Fisheries subsector is 107.79.
