Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

In April 2022, the NTP of the Kepulauan Riau Province was recorded at 106.96 or decreased by 0.10 percent compared to the NTP in March 2022.

The NTP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 99.61; The NTP of the Horticulture sub-sector is 104.96; The NTP of the People's Plantation Sub-sector is 108.87; The NTP of the Livestock sub-sector is 101.16; and the NTP of the Fisheries sub-sector of 110.02.

The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of the Kepulauan Riau Province in April 2022 was recorded at 106.83 or decreased by 0.13 percent compared to March 2022.

The NTUP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 96.96; The NTUP of the Horticulture sub-sector is 103.62; The NTUP of the People's Plantation Sub-sector is 108.36; The NTUP of the Livestock sub-sector is 101.92; and the NTUP of the Fisheries subsector of 111.47.
