Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) to the Kepulauan Riau Province during March 2022 was recorded at 1,363 visits or an increase of 274.45 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, when compared to March 2021, there was an increase of 218.46 percent.

Foreign tourists visiting the Kepulauan Riau Province in January-March 2022 were dominated by foreign tourists from Singapore, reaching 57.96 percent of the total number of foreign tourists from January to March 2022.

The room occupancy rate (TPK) for star hotels in the Kepulauan Riau Province in March 2022 was an average of 35.72 percent, an increase of 5.72 points compared to the TPK in February 2022 which was recorded at 27.01 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at five-star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in March 2022 was recorded at 2.12 days or decreased by 0.02 points compared to February 2022.
