Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) to Kepulauan Riau Province during April 2022 was recorded as 11,807 visits or an increase of 766.25 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, when compared to April 2021, there was an increase of 4,660.89 percent.

Foreign tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province in January-April 2022 were dominated by foreign tourists from Singapore, reaching 48.52 percent of the total number of foreign tourists from January to April 2022.

The room occupancy rate (TPK) for star hotels of Kepulauan Riau Province in April 2022 was an average of 27.21 percent or decreased by 8.51 points compared to the TPK in March 2022 which was recorded at 35.72 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at five-star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in April 2022 was recorded at 1.50 days or decreased by 0.62 points compared to March 2022.
