Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) to the Kepulauan Riau Province during the month of May 2022 was recorded at 23,842 visits or an increase of 101.93 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, when compared to May 2021, there was an increase of 8,896.98 percent.

Foreign tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province in January-May 2022 were dominated by Singaporean foreign tourists reaching 46.47 percent of the total number of foreign tourists during January to May 2022.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in May 2022 was an average of 37.11 percent, an increase of 9.90 points compared to April 2022 which was recorded at 27.21 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at five-star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in May 2022 was recorded at 1.96 days, an increase of 0.46 points compared to April 2022.
