Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
In August 2022, the NTP of Kepulauan Riau Province was recorded at 108.49 or decreased by 1.34 percent compared to the NTP in July 2022.
The NTP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 97.39; The NTP of the Horticulture subsector is 113.97; The NTP of the People's Plantation Sub-sector is 106.04; The NTP of the Livestock sub-sector is 99.69; and the NTP of the Fisheries sub-sector of 111.34.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kepulauan Riau Province in August 2022 was recorded at 108.04 or decreased by 1.53 percent compared to July 2022.
The NTUP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 94.71; The NTUP of the Horticulture subsector is 111.24; The NTUP of the People's Plantation Sub-sector is 105.17; The NTUP of the Livestock sub-sector is 100.71; and the NTUP of the Fisheries subsector of 113.08.
