Abstract

The number of foreign tourists to Kepulauan Riau Province during December 2023 was recorded at 189,714 visits or an increase of 44.59 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, when compared to December 2022, there was an increase of 0.62 percent.

Foreign tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province in January-December 2023 were dominated by Singaporean tourists, reaching 55.73 percent of the total number of foreign tourists from January to December 2023.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in December 2023 averaged 61.47 percent, an increase of 0.56 points compared to the November 2023 TPK which was recorded at 60.91 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in December 2023 was recorded at 1.90 days, down 0.29 points compared to November 2023.
