Abstract

A. Export Development

The export value of Kepulaua Riau Province in January 2024 reached US$1,313.86 million, down 30.36 percent compared to December 2023.
Oil and gas exports in January 2024 amounted to US $ 244.39 million or decreased 53.44 percent compared to December 2023. Non-oil and gas exports in January 2024 reached US$1,069.47 million, down 21.47 percent compared to December 2023.
The largest HS 2-digit non-oil and gas exports during January 2024 were machinery/electrical equipment (HS 85) reaching US$513.33 million with a role in non-oil and gas exports of 48.00 percent.

B.Import

The value of oil and gas imports in January 2024 reached US $ 80.00 million or decreased by 73.41 percent compared to December 2023. Meanwhile, the value of non-oil and gas imports in January 2024 amounted to US$1,186.04 million, up 16.74 percent compared to December 2023.
During January 2024, the largest non-oil and gas imports were machinery/electrical equipment (HS 85) with a value of US$520.74 million or 43.91 percent of total non-oil and gas imports...
