Abstract

The number of foreign tourists to Riau Islands Province during March 2024 was recorded at 135,491 visits or decreased by 6.42 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, when compared to March 2023, there was an increase of 7.95 percent.

Foreign tourists visiting Riau Islands Province in March 2024 were dominated by Singaporean nationals, reaching 53.12 percent of the total number of foreign tourists in March 2024.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in Riau Islands Province in March 2024 averaged 54.85 percent or decreased by 7.66 points compared to the February 2024 TPK which was recorded at 62.51 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels in Riau Islands Province in March 2024 was recorded at 2.19 days, down 0.09 points compared to February 2024.
