Abstract

In August 2024 the number of foreign tourists to Kepulauan Riau was 153,386 visits.
In January-August 2024 there were 2,213,317 domestic tourist trips to the Kepulauan Riau.
The TPK of star hotels in August 2024 was 56.35 percent.
The number of foreign tourists (foreign tourists) to Kepulauan Riau Province during August 2024 was recorded at 153,386 visits or an increase of 21.33 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, when compared to August 2023, there was an increase of 24.79 percent.
The number of domestic tourist visits to Kepulauan Riau in January-August 2024 increased by 49.79 percent compared to the same period in 2023 (c-to-c) from 1.48 million trips to 2.21 million trips.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in August 2024 averaged 56.35 percent, an increase of 3.99 points compared to the July 2024 TPK which was recorded at 52.36 percent.
The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in August 2024 was recorded at 1.91 days, an increase of 0.06 points compared to July 2024.
