Abstract

Horticulture statistical surveys are carried out annually by the district/city Agriculture Office in collaboration with the district/city Central Statistics Agency (BPS) throughout Indonesia. From the survey, some information was obtained regarding the harvested area, production yield, and productivity of each type of horticultural crops, be it seasonal fruit and vegetable crops, annual fruit and vegetable crops, biopharmaceutical plants, and ornamental plants.
The data from the 2020 horticultural statistical survey in Kepulauan Riau Province are presented in the form of a graphic review and a table detailed by commodity for each type of horticultural crop. Thus, this publication is expected to be able to describe the condition of the development of horticultural statistics in Kepulauan RiauProvince from 2016 to 2020. In addition to the data presented in the form of brief reviews and tables, an explanation of the background of data collection, concept methodology and definitions is also given. The presentation is intended to assist data users in understanding and utilizing horticultural statistical data.
