Abstract

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is one of the important economic indicators that can provide information on the development of prices of goods/services paid by consumers. The calculation of the CPI is intended to determine changes in the price of a group of goods/services that are generally consumed by the public. Changes in the CPI from time to time illustrate the level of increase (inflation) or the level of decrease (deflation) of goods/services for daily household needs. The level of change in the CPI (inflation/deflation) that occurs, in itself reflects the purchasing power of the money used by the community to meet their daily needs.Up-to-date and comprehensive macroeconomic data for development planning and evaluation, such as price developments, is something that needs to be prepared carefully and thoroughly. The publication of Inflation Growth of Kepulauan Riau Province 2022 is a publication published by the BPS Statistical of Kepulauan Riau Province as an effort to meet the demands of these needs.
