Abstract

Population projections provide an overview of the size and age structure of the population in the future which are based on certain assumptions when following trends from the past and when policies are implemented. This publication of the 2020-2035 Population Projections of the Kepulauan Riau Regency/City Population Census Results for the 2020 Population Census presents population projections for 2020 to 2035. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) compiles projections of Indonesia's population every time the results of the Population Census (SP) and the Inter-Census Population Survey (SUPAS) are available.
