Abstract

One of the successes of health development in a region can be seen from the higher life expectancy of its population. The increase in life expectancy is reflected in the increasing number of people who are classified as elderly or known as the elderly. This publication is published with the aim of providing an overview of the socio-economic situation of the elderly population in Kepulauan Riau Province. The data presented in the publication of Statistics on the Elderly Population of Kepulauan Riau Province 2023 include demographic characteristics, education level, health status, and economic activities of the elderly population in Kepulauan Riau Province. The data sources used in the preparation of this publication are data from the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) and the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) in 2023. It is hoped that this book can provide adequate information for data users and all parties, especially those related to the elderly population.
