Statistics of Kepulauan Riau Province.
The CPI for Kepulauan
Riau Province (Batam City and Tanjungpinang City) shows inflation of 0.04
percent. Judging from the group, inflation that occurred in August 2020 was
caused by an increase in 8 groups, of which the highest increase was the
personal care and other services group which rose by 2.46 percent. On the other
hand, the food, beverages and tobacco group experienced a decline of 1.17
percent.
The next indicator is
the Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) which can be interpreted as a comparison of the
price index received by farmers to the price index paid by farmers. Is an
indicator to see the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers in rural
areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods
and services consumed as well as for production costs. In August 2020, the
Kepulauan Riau Province NTP was recorded at 97.94 or an increase of 1.12 percent
compared to the NTP in July 2020.
The number of visits

number of domestic air transport passengers in July 2020 departing from the
Kepulauan Riau Province was 82,928 people or an increase of 119.04 percent from
June 2020. There were no international air transport passengers either arriving
or arriving. departed in Kepulauan Riau Province during July 2020. During July
2020 there were 180,268 people who departed (embarked) domestically from ports
in Kepulauan Riau. The number of domestic passengers departing has increased by
72.06 percent compared to June 2020 which reached 104,768 people. Meanwhile,
the number of international sea transport passengers departing (embarkation) in
July 2020 was only 1,061 people, an increase of 42.23 percent compared to June
2020.
