In September 2020, the CPI for the Kepulauan Riau Province (Batam City and Tanjungpinang City) showed deflation of 0.15 percent.

The following indicator, Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) In September 2020, Kepulauan Riau Province NTP was recorded at 98.35 or an increase of 0.42 percent compared to NTP in August 2020.

The number of foreign tourist visits or foreign tourists to the Kepulauan Riau Province during August 2020 was recorded as many as 1,654 visits. This means that it has decreased 6.29 percent compared to the previous month, where in July 2020 there were 1,765 visits. Meanwhile, when compared to August 2019, there was a decrease of 99.38 percent.

The last indicator, the number of domestic air transport passengers in August 2020 departing from Kepulauan Riau Province was 91,172 people or an increase of 9.94 percent from July 2020. Meanwhile, the number of international air transport passengers in August 2020 departing from Kepulauan Riau Province was 8 person.
