Wrokshop on Data Evaluation of ST Processing Results 2023

"Achieving a country that is not only food sovereign but also food independent" is one of the visions of Indonesia Emas 2045 in economic transformation in the agricultural sector. This was conveyed by Hermanto as the main statistician within BPS at the opening ceremony of the 2023 ST Processing Evaluation Workshop on November 15-16 at Grand Lagoi Bintan. The event began with the presentation of material from several speakers then continued with the discussion of data from ST2023 processing for each district/city. This evaluation activity is one of a long series of ST2023 implementations, starting from the determination of the ST 2023 Grand Design, instrument preparation, instrument trials, and pre-implementation rehearsals. The plenary preparation is in order to produce accurate data.

In this big event every 10 years, BPS tries to answer the challenges of the times in terms of data presentation where data will be covered up to the village level and geospatial data presentation is also very possible. Data evaluation as a pre-release activity for ST2023 phase 1 data aims to look back at the data that has been processed: whether the data produced is in accordance with conditions in the field and has a comparison with the results of ST 2013 which is supported by justification and the phenomenon of increasing / decreasing data. By prioritizing collaboration with local Agencies/OPDs, the leadership also advised that not only the Head of BPS Prov/Kab/Kota or the Head of the ST2023 Implementation Team are involved, but the entire Team must pay attention so that the data can be presented professionally and responsibly.
