Abstract

The number of foreign tourists visiting the Kepulauan Riau Province in November 2019 reached 242,268 visits, an increase of 6.34 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the previous month, where the number of foreign tourists in October 2019 was 227,823 visits. Meanwhile, when compared with November 2018, the number of foreign tourists visiting November 2019 increased by 9.65 percent.

Tourists visiting the Kepulauan Riau Province in January to November 2019 were dominated by Singaporean tourists with a percentage of 47.42 percent of the total number of foreign tourists in January-November 2019.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in November 2019 reached an average of 56.56 percent or an increase of 5.14 points compared to the ROR of October 2019 of 51.42 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in November 2019 was 1.92 days, down 0.43 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in October 2019.
