Kepulauan Riau Exports in December 2019 Decreased 1.74 percent

Abstract

The export value of the Kepulauan Riau Province in December 2019 reached US $ 1,152.14 million, down 1.74 percent compared to November 2019 exports.

December 2019 oil and gas exports amounted to US $ 350.31 million, down 2.12 percent compared to November 2019. Non-oil and gas exports in December 2019 reached US $ 801.83 million, down 1.57 percent compared to November 2019.

The largest 2-digit HS non-oil exports in December 2019 were in the category of electrical machinery / equipment (HS 85) of US $ 260.65 million, while cumulatively in January-December 2019 reached US $ 2,672.70 million, with a role in non-oil and gas exports of 32.25 percent .

Exports to Singapore in December 2019 reached the largest value of US $ 523.12 million, while cumulatively in January-December 2019 it reached US $ 6,477.49 million with its contribution reaching 51.34 percent.

The largest export value of the Kepulauan Riau Province in January-December 2019 through Batu Ampar Harbor was US $ 4,179.96 million; followed by Tarempa Harbor, US $ 2,173.94 million; Sekupang US $ 1,810.68 million; Padang Rear Port of US $ 1,359.22 million; and Tanjung Balai Karimun Port, US $ 1,231.39 million. The Port of the fifth contribution to cumulative exports from January to December 2019 amounted to 85.24 percent.
