Kepulauan Riau Exports in April 2020 decreased 10.56 percent

Abstract

The export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in April 2020 reached US$ 891.70 million, down by 10.56 percent compared to March 2020 exports.

April 2020 oil and gas exports amounted to US$ 166.66 million, down 21.62 percent compared to March 2020. Non-oil and gas exports in April 2020 reached US$ 725.04 million, down 7.57 percent compared to March 2020.

The biggest 2 digit HS non-oil exports in April 2020 were the group of electrical machinery/equipment (HS 85) of US$ 262.49 million, with a contribution to non-oil and gas exports of 37.04 percent.

Exports to Singapore in April 2020 were the largest export destination countries, namely US$ 356.91 million with contributions reaching 45.50 percent.

The highest export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in April 2020 through Batu Ampar Harbor was US$ 378.29 million; followed by Sekupang Port, US$ 139.12 million; Kabil/Panau Port with US$ 117.97 million; Port of Tarempa US$ 97.02 million; and Tanjung Balai Karimun Port, US$ 82.64 million. The Port of the fifth contribution to exports in March 2020 amounted to 88.59 percent.
