Abstract

The number of foreign tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province in February 2020 reached 124,465 visits, a decrease of 43.60 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the previous month, where the number of foreign tourists in January 2020 was 220,696 visits. Meanwhile, when compared to February 2019, the number of visits by foreign tourists in February 2020 decreased by 46.63 percent.

Tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province from January to February 2020 were dominated by Singaporean tourists with a percentage of 46.18 percent of the total number of foreign tourists in January-February 2020.

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in February 2020 reached an average of 35.58 percent, down 10.91 points compared to the TPK of January 2020 at 46.49 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in February 2020 was 2.08 days, up 0.04 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in January 2020.
