Abstract

Number of foreign tourist visits to Kepulauan Riau Province during September 2020 was recorded as many as 1,999 visits. This means an increase of 20.86 percent compared to the previous month, where in August 2020 there were 1,654 visits. Meanwhile, when compared to September 2019, there was a decrease of 99.13 percent.

Foreign tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province from January to September 2020 are dominated by Singaporean, reaching 45.07 percent of the number of foreign tourists from January to September 2020.

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in September 2020 was only an average of 16.91 percent or decreased 2.40 points compared to August 2020 which was recorded at 19.31 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in September 2020 was recorded at 1.76 days, an increase of 0.17 points compared to August 2020.
