Abstract

The number of foreign tourists to Kepulauan Riau Province during September 2023 was recorded at 132,000 visits or an increase of 7.39 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, when compared to September 2022, there was an increase of 26.13 percent.

Foreign tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province in January-September 2023 were dominated by Singaporean tourists, reaching 55.48 percent of the total number of foreign tourists from January-September 2023.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in September 2023 averaged 45.45 percent or decreased by 4.95 points compared to the August 2023 TPK which was recorded at 50.40 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in September 2023 was recorded at 1.83 days, down 0.25 points compared to August 2023.
