Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) against the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

In May 2020, the Kepulauan Riau Province NTP was recorded at 97.60 or decreased by 1.68 percent compared to the April 2020 NTP.

The NTP of the Food Crop subsector was recorded at 102.49; Horticulture subsector NTP of 103.88; NTP of the People's Plantation Plant subsector of 88.50; The NTP of the Animal Husbandry subsector is 99.49 and the NTP of the Fisheries subsector is 99.33.

Agricultural Business Exchange Rates (NTUP) of Kepulauan Riau Province in May 2020 amounted to 98.93, a decrease of 1.63 percent compared to last month.

NTUP of the Food Crop subsector was recorded at 102.85; NTUP Horticulture sub-sector by 105.81; NTUP People Plantation sub-sector is 89.96; NTUP Livestock sub-sector by 100.66; and NTUP Fisheries sub-sector by 100.30.
