Kepulauan Riau Exports in May 2020 increased 1.30 percent

Abstract

The export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in May 2020 reached US $ 859.50 million, up 1.30 percent compared to April 2020.

Oil and gas exports in May 2020 amounted to US $ 186.08 million, up 50.77 percent compared to April 2020. Non-oil and gas exports in May 2020 reached US $ 673.42 million, down 7.12 percent compared to April 2020.

The largest 2-digit HS non-oil exports in May 2020 were the group of electrical machinery / equipment (HS 85) reaching US $ 257.28 million, with a contribution to non-oil and gas exports of 37.25 percent.

During January-May 2020, Singapore became the largest destination for non-oil and gas exports reaching US $ 1,275.45 million with a contribution of 33.02 percent and also being the largest destination for oil and gas exports reaching US $ 862.51 million with a role of 86.47 percent.

The largest export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in January-May 2020 through Batu Ampar Harbor was US $ 2,154.48 million; followed by Sekupang Port, US $ 683.16 million; Kabil / Panau Port of US $ 540.81 million; Port of Tarempa US $ 503.70 million; and Tanjung Balai Karimun Port, US $ 424.46 million. The port's fifth role in exports from January to May 2020 was 88.60 percent.
