Kepulauan Riau Exports in September 2020 increased 3.72 percent

Abstract

Export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in September 2020 reached US $ 1,028.46 million, an increase of 3.72 percent compared to August 2020.

September 2020 oil and gas exports amounted to US $ 222.97 million, an increase of 28.46 percent compared to August 2020. Non-oil and gas exports in September 2020 reached US $ 805.49 million or decreased by 1.53 percent compared to August 2020.

The biggest 2-digit HS non-oil and gas exports during January-September 2020 were the machine / electrical equipment (HS 85) group of goods reaching US $ 2,779.12 million with a role in non-oil and gas exports of 39.39 percent.

During January-September 2020, Singapore became the largest non-oil and gas export destination country, reaching US $ 2,281.80 million with a role of around 32.35 percent. In addition, it is also the largest oil and gas export destination country, reaching US $ 1,354.83 million with a role of 81.04 percent.

The largest export value for the Kepulauan Riau Province from January to September 2020 was through the Batu Ampar Port, US $ 4,055.28 million; followed by Sekupang Port with US $ 1,309.13 million; Kabil / Panau Port US $ 939.90 million; Tarempa Port, US $ 787.80 million; and Tanjung Balai Karimun Port of US $ 683.51 million. The role of the five ports in January September 2020 exports reached 89.11 percent.
