Kepulauan Riau Exports in June 2020 increased 15.23 percent

Abstract

The export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in June 2020 reached US $ 911.24 million, up 15.23 percent compared to May 2020.

Oil and gas exports in June 2020 amounted to US $ 165.03 million, up 40.61 percent compared to May 2020. Non-oil and gas exports in June 2020 reached US $ 746.21 million, up 10.81 percent compared to May 2020.

The biggest 2 digit HS non-oil and gas exports during January-June 2020 were electrical machinery / equipment (HS 85) group reaching US $ 1,745.88 million with a contribution to non-oil and gas exports of 37.88 percent.

During January-June 2020, Singapore became the largest non-oil and gas export destination country to reach US $ 2,437.71 million with a role of around 42.74 percent. Besides that, it also became the largest destination for oil and gas exports which reached US $ 924.02 million with a role of 84.48 percent.

The largest export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in January-June 2020 is through Batu Ampar Port, US $ 2,583.30 million; followed by Sekupang Port, US $ 827.32 million; Kabil / Panau Port with US $ 645.61 million; Port of Tarempa US $ 528.33 million; and Tanjung Balai Karimun Port, US $ 483.48 million. The port's fifth role in exports from January to June 2020 reached 88.86 percent.
