Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) against the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

In June 2020, NTP of Kepulauan Riau Province was recorded at 97.05 or decreased by 0.56 percent compared to the NTP in May 2020.

The NTP of the Food Crop subsector was recorded at 101.19; Horticulture subsector NTP of 102.29; NTP of the People's Plantation Plant subsector of 86.48; Farm NTP subsector of 101.68; and Fisheries subsector NTP of 100.13.

The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kepulauan Riau Province in June 2020 was recorded at 98.28, a decrease of 0.66 percent compared to the previous month.

NTUP of the Food Crop subsector was recorded at 101.35; NTUP Horticulture sub-sector amounting to 104.29; NTUP of the People's Plantation sub-sector by 87.74; NTUP Livestock subsector of 102.69; and NTUP Fisheries sub-sector by 100.99
