Abstract
Farmer Exchange Rate
(NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) against the
price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to
see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also
shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods
and services consumed as well as for production costs.
In July 2020, NTP of
Kepulauan Riau Province was recorded at 96.86 or decreased by 0.20 percent
compared to the NTP in June 2020.
The NTP of the Food Crop
subsector was recorded at 102.38; NTP of Horticulture subsector was 100.81; NTP
of the People's Plantation Plant subsector was 84.37; NTP of Livestock
subsector was 102.77; and NTP of Fisheries subsector was 101.96.
The Agricultural Business
Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kepulauan Riau Province in July 2020 was recorded at
97.90, a decrease of 0.38 percent compared to the previous month.
NTUP of the Food Crop
subsector was recorded at 102.36; NTUP of Horticulture subsector was 102.61;
NTUP of the People's Plantation Plant subsector was 85.28; NTUP of Livestock
subsector was 103.70; and NTUP of Fisheries subsector was 102.75.
