Abstract

The number of foreign tourist arrivals or tourists to Kepulauan Riau Province during July 2020 was recorded at 1,765 visits. This means it decreased 1.23 percent compared to the previous month, where in June 2020 there were 1,787 visits. Meanwhile, when compared to July 2019, there was a decrease of 99.19 percent.

Tourists visiting of Kepulauan Riau Province in January to July 2020 are dominated by Singaporean tourists reaching 45.46 percent of the number of foreign tourists from January to July 2020.

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in July 2020 was only an average of 20.16 percent or an increase of 5.71 points compared to the June 2020 TPK which was recorded at 14.45 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels in the Kepulauan Riau Province in July 2020 was recorded at 1.74 days or decreased 0.19 points compared to June 2020.
