Abstract

Farmer Term of Trade (NTP) is the comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

In October 2020, Kepulauan Riau Province NTP was recorded at 98.99 or an increase of 0.65 percent compared to the NTP in September 2020.

NTP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 103.45; Horticulture sub-sector NTP of 103.62; NTP of Community Plantation Crops subsector of 86.40; NTP of Animal Husbandry sub-sector of 100.42; and Fisheries sub-sector NTP of 105.25.

Kepulauan Riau Province Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in October 2020 was recorded at 99.94, an increase of 0.86 percent compared to the previous month.

Food Crops sub-sector NTUP was recorded at 103.18; Horticulture sub-sector NTUP 105.36; NTUP for Plantation Crops sub-sector amounted to 87.31; Animal Husbandry sub-sector NTUP 101.28; and Fisheries sub-sector NTUP 105.88
