Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is the comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

In January 2021, Kepulauan Riau Province NTP was recorded at 102.77 or an increase of 1.40 percent compared to the NTP in December 2020.

NTP of Food Crops subsector was recorded at 105.96; Horticulture sub-sector NTP of 107.98; NTP of Community Plantation Crops subsector 90.19; NTP of Livestock sub-sector of 99.36; and Fisheries sub-sector NTP of 110.39.

Kepulauan Riau Province Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in December 2020 was recorded at 104.76, an increase of 2.00 percent compared to the previous month.

Food Crops sub-sector NTUP was recorded at 106.99; Horticulture sub-sector NTUP 111.00; NTUP for Plantation Crops sub-sector amounting to 92.36; livestock sub-sector NTUP 101.01; and Fisheries sub-sector NTUP 111.64
