Abstract

The number of domestic air transport passengers in January 2021 departing from the Kepulauan Riau Province was 90,554, or decreased by 28.48 percent from December 2020. Meanwhile, no international air passengers in January 2021 came or left.

During January 2021, 196,121 people departed (embarked) domestically from ports in Kepulauan Riau. The number of domestic passengers departing has decreased by 19.51 percent compared to December 2020 which reached 243,650 people. Meanwhile, the number of international sea transport passengers departing (embarkation) in January 2021 was only 203 people, a decrease of 91.16 percent compared to December 2020.

In January 2021, the amount of baggage loading and domestic air transport goods decreased by 14.45 percent from 2,219.35 tons in December 2020 to 1,898.72 tons in January 2021. In January 2021, there was no loading and unloading of luggage and goods for international air freight.

In January 2021, the amount of international sea freight cargo has decreased from the previous month of 11.68 percent, from 2,392,424.17 tons to 2,112,966.94 tons.
