Abstract

The number of domestic air transport passengers departing from Kepulauan Riau Province in January 2022 was 136,944 people, an increase of 1.96 percent compared to December 2021. There were 3 international air transport passengers departing from the Riau Islands Province in January 2022.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers who departed in January 2022 was recorded at 255,886 people, down 8.09 percent compared to December 2021 which reached 278,413 people. Meanwhile, the number of international sea transport passengers departing in January 2022 was 2,181 people, a decrease of 5.17 percent compared to December 2021.
In January 2022, the amount of baggage and goods carried by domestic air freight decreased by 8.70 percent from 2,665.33 tons in December 2021 to 2,433.33 tons in January 2022. In January 2022, no goods were loaded on international air freight.
