Development of Kepulauan Riau Province Air and Sea Transportation February 2021

The number of domestic air transport passengers in February 2021 departing from Kepulauan Riau Province was 84,149 people, or decreased by 7.07 percent from January 2021. Meanwhile, there were 35 international air passengers departing in February 2021.
During February 2021, 193,894 people departed (embarked) domestically from ports in the Kepulauan Riau. The number of departing domestic passengers has increased by 8.00 percent compared to January 2021, which reached 179,535 people. Meanwhile, the number of international sea transport passengers departing (embarkation) in February 2021 was 1,148 people, a decrease of 12.63 percent compared to January 2021.
In February 2021, the amount of baggage and domestic air freight loads decreased by 5.52 percent from 1,896.64 tons in January 2021 to 1,791.88 tons in February 2021. In February 2021, the amount of baggage and international air freight loads was only as much as 0.06 tons.
In February 2021, the amount of international sea freight cargo has increased from the previous month of 4.45 percent, from 2,112,966.96 tons to 2,206,989.82 tons.
