Abstract

The number of foreign tourist visits or foreign tourists to Kepulauan Riau Province during July 2021 was recorded at 161 visits. This means a decrease of 40.59 percent compared to the previous month, where in June 2021 there were 271 visits. Meanwhile, when compared to July 2020, there was an increase of 93.98 percent.

Foreign tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province from January to July 2021 were dominated by foreign tourists who were Singaporeans, reaching 11.95 percent of the total number of foreign tourists from January to July 2021.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in July 2021 averaged 19.10 percent or decreased by 3.93 points compared to the TPK in June 2021 which was recorded at 23.03 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at five-star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in July 2021 was recorded at 2.01 days, an increase of 0.22 points compared to June 2021.
