Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
In August 2021, the NTP of Kepulauan Riau Province was recorded at 104.26 or decreased by 1.41 percent compared to the NTP in July 2021.
The NTP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 101.01; The NTP of the Horticulture subsector is 101.02; The NTP of the People's Plantation Sub-sector is 102.78; The NTP of the Livestock sub-sector is 102.38; and the NTP of the Fisheries subsector of 109.21.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kepulauan Riau Province in August 2021 was recorded at 104.97, a decrease of 1.39 percent compared to the previous month.
The NTUP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 100.44; The NTUP of the Horticulture subsector is 102.42; NTUP of the People's Plantation Sub-sector of 103.77; The NTUP of the Livestock sub-sector is 102.91; and the NTUP of the Fisheries subsector of 109.42.
