Kepulauan Riau Farmers Term of Trade in October 2021

Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

In October 2021, the NTP of the Kepulauan Riau Province was recorded at 105.23 or an increase of 0.17 percent compared to the NTP in September 2021.

The NTP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 104.77; The NTP of the Horticulture subsector is 102.55; The NTP of the People's Plantation Sub-sector is 105.14; The NTP of the Livestock sub-sector is 100.55; and the NTP of the Fisheries sub-sector of 108.90.

The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kepulauan Riau Province in October 2021 was recorded at 105.95, an increase of 0.03 percent compared to the previous month.

The NTUP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 104.19; Horticulture subsector NTUP of 103.88; The NTUP of the People's Plantation Sub-sector is 106.20; The NTUP of the Livestock sub-sector is 101.10; and the NTUP of the Fisheries subsector is 109.12
