Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

In December 2021, the NTP of Kepulauan Riau Province was recorded at 107.29 or an increase of 1.13 percent compared to the NTP in November 2021.

The NTP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 102.79; The NTP of the Horticulture sub-sector is 108.50; The NTP of the People's Plantation Sub-sector is 104.02; The NTP of the Livestock sub-sector is 101.58; and the NTP of the Fisheries sub-sector of 111.89.

The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kepulauan Riau Province in December 2021 was recorded at 108.13, an increase of 1.04 percent compared to the previous month.

The NTUP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 101.73; The NTUP of the Horticulture subsector is 109.53; The NTUP of the People's Plantation Sub-sector is 105.11; The NTUP of the Livestock sub-sector is 102.73; and the NTUP of the Fisheries subsector of 112.62.
