Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
In February 2022, the NTP of Kepulauan Riau Province was recorded at 107.18 or an increase of 0.18 percent compared to the NTP in January 2021.
The NTP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 101.28; The NTP of the Horticulture subsector is 107.28; The NTP of the People's Plantation Sub-sector is 106.63; The NTP of the Livestock sub-sector is 99.43; and the NTP of the Fisheries sub-sector of 111.16.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kepulauan Riau Province in February 2022 was recorded at 107.45 or did not change compared to January 2022.
The NTUP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 99.77; NTUP of the Horticulture subsector is 107.47; The NTUP of the People's Plantation Sub-sector is 106.39; The NTUP of the Livestock sub-sector is 99.95; and the NTUP of the Fisheries subsector of 112.25.
