Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) to Kepulauan Riau Province during January 2022 was recorded at 494 visits or decreased by 9.19 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, when compared to January 2021, there was an increase of 89.27 percent.
Foreign tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province in January 2022 were dominated by Singaporean foreign tourists reaching 35.22 percent of the total number of foreign tourists during January 2022.
The room occupancy rate (TPK) for star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in January 2022 was an average of 26.39 percent or decreased by 10.65 points compared to the TPK in December 2021 which was recorded at 37.04 percent.
The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at five-star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in January 2022 was recorded at 1.52 days or decreased by 0.32 points compared to December 2021.
