Abstract

A. Export

  • The export value of the Kepulauan Riau Province in April 2022 reached US $ 1,804.31 million, an increase of 4.70 percent compared to March 2022.
  • Oil and gas exports in April 2022 amounted to US$402.22 million, a decrease of 15.24 percent compared to March 2022. Non-oil and gas exports in April 2022 reached US$1,402.09 million, an increase of 12.27 percent compared to March 2022.
  • The largest 2-digit HS non-oil and gas exports during January-April 2022 were machinery/electrical equipment (HS 85) which reached US$2,071.35 million with a share of non-oil and gas exports of 43.33 percent.
  • During January-April 2022, Singapore became the largest export destination country, reaching US$ 3,130.24 million with a share of 49.71 percent.
  • During January-April 2022, Singapore became the country's largest non-oil and gas export destination, reaching US$2,038.47 million with a share of around 42.64 percent. Besides that, it is also the country's largest oil and gas export destination, which reached US$1,091.77 million with a share of 71.98 percent.
  • The largest export value of the Kepulauan Riau Province from January to April 2022 was through the Port of Batu Ampar, US$2,828.53 million; followed by Sekupang Port at US$886.34 million; Tanjung Balai Karimun Port US$878.87 million; Tarempa Port US$624.72 million; and Kabil/Panau Port  US$505.09 million. The role of the five ports in exports from January to April 2022 reached 90.89 percent.
  • The largest export volume of the Kepulauan Riau Province from January to April 2022 is through Tanjung Balai Karimun Port  3,595.80 thousand tons; followed by Tarempa Port with 1,149.19 thousand tons; Padang Rear Harbor 675.21 thousand tons; Batu Ampar Port 468.03 thousand tons and Kabil/Panau Port 268.20 thousand tons. The role of the five ports in the export volume from January to April 2022 reached 91.60 percent.
B.Import
  • The import value of the Kepulauan Riau Province in April 2022 reached US$1,480.22 million, down 11.13 percent compared to March 2022.
  • The value of oil and gas imports in April 2022 reached US$ 313.33 million, a decrease of 14.99 percent compared to March 2022. The value of non-oil and gas imports in April 2022 was US$ 1,166.89 million, a decrease of 10.03 percent compared to March 2022.
  • During January-April 2022, the largest non-oil and gas imports were machinery/electrical equipment (HS 85) with a value of US$2,106.04 million or 48.17 percent of the total non-oil and gas imports.
  • During January-April 2022, China was the largest supplier of imported non-oil and gas goods, which reached US$1,269.66 million with a role of 29.04 percent. Meanwhile, the largest supplier of imported oil and gas goods during January-April 2022, namely Singapore with an import value of US$382.39 million with a role of 33.93 percent.
  • The largest port of loading and unloading of imported goods during January-April 2022 is Batu Ampar Port with an import value of US$2,766.13 million, followed by Sekupang Port with an import value of US$1,153.04 million, with the role of both reaching 71.27 percent.
  • The largest import loading port by volume during January-April 2022 is Tanjung Uban with an import volume value of 850.33 thousand tons, followed by Batu Ampar Port with an import volume value of 644.48 thousand tons, with the role of both reaching 62.62 percent.
