A. Export

The export value of the Kepulauan Riau Province in May 2022 reached US $ 1,709.81 million, down 5.09 percent compared to April 2022.
Oil and gas exports in May 2022 amounted to US$437.76 million, up 8.84 percent compared to April 2022. Non-oil and gas exports in May 2022 reached US$1,272.05 million, down 9.09 percent compared to April 2022.
The largest 2-digit HS non-oil and gas exports during January-May 2022 were machinery/electrical equipment (HS 85) which reached US$2,672.30 million with a share of non-oil and gas exports of 44.17 percent.
During January-May 2022, Singapore became the largest export destination country, reaching US$3,947.79 million, with a share of 49.32 percent.
During January-May 2022, Singapore became the country's largest non-oil and gas export destination, reaching US$2,513.90 million with its share of around 41.55 percent. Besides that, it is also the largest oil and gas export destination country, which reached US$1,433.90 million with its role of 73.36 percent.
The largest export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in January May 2022 was through the Port of Batu Ampar, US$3,637.83 million; followed by Tanjung Balai Karimun Port at US$1,093.03 million; Sekupang Port US$1,069.20 million; Tarempa Port US$835.11 million; and
Port of Kabil/Panau US$611.73 million. The role of the five ports in exports from January to May 2022 reached 90.54 percent.
The largest export volume of Kepulauan Riau Province in January May 2022 is through the Port of Tanjung Balai Karimun 4,365.93 thousand tons; followed by Tarempa Port of 1,446.02 thousand tons; Padang Rear Harbor 833.66 thousand tons; Batu Ampar Port is 558.34 thousand tons and Kabil/Panau Port is 333.93 thousand tons. The role of the five ports in the export volume from January to May 2022 reached 92.39 percent.
