Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one of the indicators to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
In September 2022, the NTP of Kepulauan Riau Province was recorded at 106.54 or decreased by 1.79 percent compared to the NTP in August 2022.
The NTP of the Food Crops sub-sector was recorded at 96.84; the NTP of the Horticulture sub-sector was 114.58; The NTP of the People's Plantation Sub-sector is 99.86; The NTP of the Livestock sub-sector is 100.61; and the NTP of the Fisheries subsector of 110.01.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kepulauan Riau Province in September 2022 was recorded at 105.46 or decreased by 2.39 percent compared to August 2022.
The NTUP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 94.41; The NTUP of the Horticulture subsector is 111.46; The NTUP of the People's Plantation Sub-sector is 97.97; The NTUP of the Livestock sub-sector is 102.00; and the NTUP of the Fisheries subsector is 110.76.
